About REece

The Arkansan tenor Reece Ruhl has been acclaimed for his dynamic, captivating timbre which has brought him into multiple genres in the classical repertoire.

Reece has recently been seen as the Evangelist (Johannespasssion, Schütz) as a guest artist with the Arkansas State University Concert Choir, a Second Place Winner in Redlands Bowl Young Artist Competition, and as a chorus member in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Opera Memphis. This summer will be Reece’s second season with the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Steiermark, Austria as a member of the Opera Studio.

This upcoming season, Reece joins Opera Memphis Handorf Company Artists to sing Borsa (Rigoletto), Frederick (Pirates of Penzance), and Belfiore (La finta giardiniera). Reece is an honored alumnus of the Opera in the Ozarks Emerging Artist Program (‘23, ‘24), Arkansas State University (MM, ‘25), and Henderson State University (BMA, ‘22).
